  Susan has been walking our Scottish terrier, Biscotti, for the past three years, since he was a little puppy. Susan provides a 100% reliable service, all the time, every time - she is a committed dog walker, whether sunshine or snow. We leave our precious dog in Susan's capable hands with absolute confidence that whilst we're in the office, our dog is having the time of his life. Biscotti has a thrilling and exciting time, running freely with his pack in a safe, yet fun, environment, around Richmond's beautiful parks. He is evidently a happier dog when he's been out with Susan and the pack. To add, when Susan is taking a well deserved holiday every now and again, there is always an equally reliable dog walker to stand in for her. • Sam & Dave

  Ever since our dogs, Sam and Dave, completed their shots and were unleashed on an unsuspecting world, the Dog Squad team has been there.  My husband and I spend a lot of time with our dogs, but when we can't, the Dog Squad can.  In addition to their walking service, we love the fact that when we go away we can have a Dog Squader stay in our home.  That way the doggies are happy, the house is well looked after and we go away with a great deal of peace of mind.  I could go on and on, but the real reason we have been with the team from the Dog Squad for 6 years now is down to the way that Sam and Dave react when the doorbell rings and a Dog Squader is on the other side…. • Jacob

  Jacob, our miniature Jack Russell, is a home-body. He likes to be around us all the time and hates to walk unless we ALL go out as a family. Often he'll hang back if he realises one of us is still at home. So it's great to see him run to the front door ready for his walk when Rana from the Dog Squad arrives to pick him up, even if we're around. He gets a good walk and plenty of social time with the other dogs too.
  He's been to stay at Rana's house too - and trots in without hesitation - while we look on a bit misty eyed and wistful (sad I know!!).
  The Dog Squad team take their responsibilities towards the dogs in their care very seriously. I was impressed with the form I had to fill in when we joined Jacob up, asking for details and proof of innoculations, descriptions of behaviour and so on. I realised that if they were asking this about Jacob, they were also checking out all the other dogs they walk. The team members I've met are friendly, caring people who love dogs. They're really flexible in their approach and helpful if you have questions. I would recommend them highly if you are looking for someone to walk your dog or take care of it while you're on holiday.

• Molly

  No doubt who Molly is ecstatic to see every day, Rana! Indeed the response is similar to Linda, MJ and any other member of the very reliant Dog Squad team, when cover is needed. That in itself illustrates how happy we are to have the team looking after Molly for her daily run out with her own group of friends. Rana as Molly's main walker, ensures we are always informed of any issues they may find when collecting / walking, always updating us should cover be needed when she is unable to walk Molly on a particular day. The team are more than happy to discuss with us our requirements for a particular day or week. We know the whole team understand what an owner needs from them, and more importantly what the dogs themselves want and enjoy. The whole team's dedication, devotion and service were fully highlighted, when Molly managed to disappear out the front door whilst our builders were on site working. We can only repeat as we told it to our friends, "It was like a special forces incident response unit" . As many as possible of the team arrived to help in the search. Rest assured of a happy ending as Rana, MJ and the team spotted and persuaded the reluctant escapee home again. As they all know, we were touched by and so grateful for their dedication. • Scrappy & Missy

  Scrappy, our lively patterdale terrier joined Tamsin's walking crew 2 years ago. He was quickly joined by Missy our new border terrier puppy. What I can most recommend about Tamsin and the rest of the team is that they are always very professional. The team work together and back each other up and I never have to worry that my dog walker is going on holiday or is off ill as the team help each other out to make sure that my 2 dogs always get their walks. This is invaluable in a dog walking team.  As a terrier owner it is also great to find a walker who loves all dogs but I think I can safely say Tamsin has a sweet spot for the mighty terriers! This is very useful as mine can be a handful and a half, but Tamsin takes it all in her stride and handles them beautifully.  If you can get your dog a place with this team snap it up! • Bully

  I honestly can't say enough about my dog walker Caroline.  She has taken on my stubborn Bull Terrier Bully, with all of his eccentricities- (one of them being not walking!) and has shown the utmost caring and compassion with him and his elderly sister Molly (who always gets a treat since she can't go along). • Soni

  Caroline has walked our current Border Collie Soni for the past 6 months. He was a rescue, found as a stray, had been rehomed once previously and had a mind of his own! Caroline supported us as we retrained Soni and he's now an affectionate, well behaved and relaxed dog. What's great is that she will ask about how you want to manage your dog and work with you behaviourally to reinforce your approach. She has looked after Soni on his walks and has also house-sat with him while we've been away. She's particularly appreciated because of her insistence that he is wiped down upon returning to the house following a muddy walk!
  Caroline also looked after our previous dog Millie. Millie eventually got ill and Caroline was both flexible to Millie's needs and incredibly thoughtful about us and about Millie the whole time.
  Just seeing how both dogs seemed to forget their parents the minute Caroline walks through the door is testament to how much dogs love her. I would very much recommend Caroline who we find to be caring, flexible, reliable, relaxed and totally trustworthy. (Wendy, Kingston)

  We first considered using a dog walker to ensure, during our busy days, our dog never missed out on what she needs, walking. We also realised that not only do we have to make sure that our dog was happy, but also the trust between us and the dog walker was excellent too. Enabling us to give over house keys and know that security for us was paramount to them too. Our dog eagerly awaits her walks, she comes back content and tired and we know that her best interests are as important to her walker as to us. We as a family cannot thank the dog squad enough for ensuring our dog has attention, fun and a great time when out with them as when with us.   MJ and other members of the dog squad have walked my chocolate labrador Fin since she was a puppy and she is now 8.  Fin loves her walks and when I'm away she boards with one of the team.  I just know that she gets just as much love and attention from them as she does at home.  The thing I like most about the dog squad is that they are so reliable and flexible.  If I'm going to be late home a quick text and MJ will feed Fin when she drops her off or an emergency trip overseas and they'll make sure she is looked after. They cover for each other so that I know that there is always someone I can trust looking after Fin.  I just couldn't manage my busy life without them.   Dear Dog Squad. We just wanted to say thanks so much for taking such great care of Tami and Bella during the week we were in Spain. Dave had obviously given them lots of cuddles and walks, and the house was cleaner than we have left it! Tami and Bella were very happy when we got home, and the treats had all been eaten - hoping that was because they were so good not because they were being scavengers! We were worried about leaving them for the week with someone they didn't know, so we especially appreciated the daily text messages telling us they were fine and what naughtiness they had been up to.   Tamsin, I wanted to write and express my thanks for the superb job you and the team do in helping me to look after Brady.  You're all absolutely mad about dogs and I know that you feel that the dogs in your charge are your own pets;  you always refer to them as 'My Dogs'!  That passion is what makes the Dog Squad so successful and gives me complete faith that Brady's well being is as important to you as it is to me. I work very long hours and am often away at short notice;  thanks to you I can do this knowing that Brady will be loved and cared for in his own home by people he knows and trusts.  Brady had 5 homes in the first year of his life and I would never put him through the trauma of kennels or strangers so that he thought he'd been abandoned again.
  As you know, Brady is my pride and joy and is now a very happy, affectionate and settled dog; without the Dog Squad I would not have been able to keep him when my personal circumstances changed two years ago.

• Pebbles

  Linda has been walking Pebbles (a very energetic GSP) almost every weekday since she was 4 months old - she is now 3 1/2 yrs ! 
  Working full-time we always thought we'd never be able to have a dog. But having found Linda it's been possible. Knowing that Linda is so reliable and flexible really takes a weight off my mind. Even when we had the bad snow day last year and most of London stopped, Linda still turned up to walk Pebbles ! I know Pebbles is in good hands and is looked after as if she was Linda's own. MJ, Tamsin and Caroline have all walked Pebbles when Linda has been on holiday and they've been equally brilliant. We've never had an issue. Linda thinks carefully about who she will be walking Pebbles with and where they go so Pebbles (and hopefully Linda) can enjoy their walks. Pebbles is always happy to see Linda arrive and having bumped into her a weekends whilst out walking it's lovely to see how Pebbles responds to her.   Susan has been looking after Gem and Toby for a long time now, so much so it's like she's part of the family.The dogs love Susan and I think it's mutual. They come back happy, healthy and hungry every time. Susan varies their walks so they don't get bored and often keeps them for a full day when I'm out a work so they're not left alone for long periods.The other fantastic thing about the Dog Squad is Susan's flexibility – she can often collect the dogs at short notice or keep then on an extra walk andthis really helps me as I am self employed and often have to go places at the last minute.

  I have known Marie Joelle for a number of years. She has walked my dog Jess on a regular basis and is always reliable and flexible.   Wendy from The dog squad, has been walking our sometimes bothersome boxer dog Talullah for about 4 years now, and I must say I can not recommend her highly enough. Her experience and knowledge in dog behaviour and training has helped no end in socialising our slightly stroppy dog. Wendy takes her for a good long leg stretch with a small group of  dogs and she always come back looking happy and thoroughly tuckered out. Tuesdays and Thursdays are known as "Wendy Days" in our house and Talullah waits with eager anticipation for the sound of Wendy's car in the drive, in fact she drives us nuts shuffling around impatiently. She is always happy to jump into Wendy's car and excitedly greets the doggie chums already onboard. Then they head off to the  sort of place I rarely have time to take her.  I feel very confident when Talullah is out on walks with Wendy.
